Located north of Clark, North Routt, stretching to Columbine, is an elevation above Steamboat and typically sees more snow, extending winter. Hahns Peak, named after the German miner Joseph Hahn, led to a gold rush and the establishment of Hahns Peak Village, Routt County's oldest settlement.
