West Steamboat generally refers to all neighborhoods on the western edge of city limits, extending out to Steamboat II, Heritage Park, and Silver Spur. These neighborhoods consist primarily of single-family homes that are often at a more affordable price point than what is available in town and on the mountain.

 

These residential areas are home to full-time, year-round residents. West Steamboat is home to the newly built Bear River Bike and Skate Park as well as the Steamboat Springs Community Center. There is also a 9-hole golf course and the private Christian Heritage School.
